Meet Principal Kenya Massenburg

Kenya E. Massenburg has spent her career as an educational leader, developing relationships with students, teachers, parents, and communities in order to support student success. Kenya most recently served as the Teaching and Learning Specialist of secondary schools for Richmond Public Schools (RPS). In this role, she worked closely with principals and division leadership to enhance school improvement and data collection processes. Prior to joining RPS, Kenya served as an administrator in Henrico County, Virginia, where she served as an Associate Principal and Assistant Principal directly supporting innovative instructional practices, positive school culture, and building community in schools. Kenya earned her Bachelor’s in Sociology and her Master’s in Education from Virginia State University. In addition, she holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from George Washington University.
